Re: "Move the deer up-Island where they're wanted," Sept. 4. To all those who think they should send their unwanted deer somewhere else: keep your deer! Deal with your own problems and stop trying to foist them onto others.

Re: "A community grows at Westhills," Aug. 31. The coverage of the development Westhills was thorough. It covered all the important aspects of the development, which seems to be in good hands, under adept leadership.

Move the deer up-Island where they're wanted

Re: "Let hunters kill more deer: report," Sept. 1. While Victorians are complaining about too many deer in their neighbourhoods, communities along the northwest coast of the island are complaining about the lack of deer in their area.

The decision to donate should be private

It seems that I cannot pass through a checkout counter in a store these days without the clerk applying a significant amount of psychological pressure by asking if I would donate a dollar or two to a charity.
