Re: 鈥淧olice will be waiting for ferry users,鈥 letter, April 19. The letter and photograph suggesting that police would be waiting to administer a breathalyzer test to passengers disembarking from B.C. ferries are simply absurd.

Re: 鈥淏uilding contained priceless marvels,鈥 April 17. Like so many people worldwide, the flaming inferno of Notre Dame will be etched in my mind always, as one of our world鈥檚 heartbreaking catastrophes.

April 21: All Victoria鈥檚 bells should ring out

Re: 鈥淐hrist Church Cathedral bell rung in support of Paris鈥檚 Notre Dame Cathedral,鈥 April 9. All the tourists from Greater Victoria who have visited Notre Dame de Paris have been represented by the sound of the bell. Good initiative.
