Victoria Symphony music director Christian Kluxen has signed a contract extension with the organization that will take him through the symphony鈥檚 2022-2023 season. Kluxen was born in Copenhagen and maintains residence in Denmark鈥檚 capital.

There鈥檚 a list of veteran British Columbian visual artists that is being poured over by a five-person committee for the Audain Prize for Visual Art.

A drama about a nuclear meltdown may sound grim. Certainly Lucy Kirkwood鈥檚 2016 play The Children is stern enough stuff, despite the dark humour leavening the journey.
