In the battle between environmentalists and the pro-pipeline contingent in British Columbia, the argument often boils down (as so many 鈥渓eftish鈥� versus 鈥渞ightish鈥� battles do) to a few slender talking points.

No normal person pays close attention to who is 鈥渋n鈥� or 鈥渙ut鈥� as finance minister, and that鈥檚 a good thing. It means the politician in question has avoided messing up the lives of ordinary 91原创s.

For thousands of years, residents of B.C. have had the freedom to roam our lands and forests. Public ownership of most of our forests has maintained this freedom.
