Work on Highway 4 about two kilometres east of Kennedy Hill will result in single-lane alternating traffic 24/7 beginning Monday, the District of Tofino says.
The district said in a news release that resurfacing and repairs to the road base will continue to Oct. 18.
Motorists should expect delays of up to 20 minutes and leave extra time for their travels, the district said.
Over-width vehicles will need permits to get through the area.
