Victoria police say one person was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries after a stabbing early Friday outside Christ Church Cathedral.
Police were alerted just after 5:30 a.m. about the attack near the church at the intersection of Courtney and Quadra streets.
They said the incident is believed to have been an isolated case and there is no risk to the public.
The investigation is continuing.
