Two people are expected to face trafficking charges after a search of a residential suite led to a “significant” seizure of illicit drugs, including fentanyl, Campbell River RCMP say.
More than 200 grams of fentanyl, more than 900 grams of cocaine and 260 hydromorphone pills, or Dilaudid, were found in the Nov. 20 search in the 1300-block of Shoppers Row, police said
Police said they also seized more than $26,000 in cash.
There was also evidence in the suite of crack cocaine being made and fentanyl being diluted, the RCMP said.
A 34-year-old man was arrested and released, and is due for his first court appearance in February.
Police said charges are expected against him and a 32-year-old woman.
