Mounties in Cranbrook in southeastern B.C. are praising the honesty and integrity of a staff member at a local discount store for turning in a wallet stuffed with cash. RCMP say the employee immediately contacted police after spotting the wallet in the store on Wednesday evening.
More than $1,000 in cash and various pieces of ID were inside.
The delighted owner of the wallet does not live in Cranbrook, but will be returning to the city to claim the property.
