An 84-year-old man was arrested for impaired driving in Lake Cowichan on Wednesday after police received calls that several vehicles had been struck in the parking lot of the town’s Country Grocer store.
Lake Cowichan RCMP responded about 5 p.m. and took the driver into custody before transporting him to the detachment for testing.
No one was injured in the collisions.
A report will be submitted to the B.C. Prosecution Service recommending charges, police said.
