Saanich police and firefighters were on the scene of a collision in which a cyclist was seriously injured at the intersection of Grange Road and Tulip Avenue on Thursday evening.
The cyclist, a man in his 40s who had been wearing a helmet, was taken to hospital by B.C. Ambulance paramedics. He had been cycling north on Grange Road when he was struck by a vehicle.
Witnesses to the collision who have not spoken to police were asked to contact the Saanich Police Department switchboard at 250-475-4321.
