A Central Saanich police officer is in stable condition after a crash early Thursday involving a police vehicle near the intersection of Hovey Road and Wallace Drive.
Police said the single-vehicle incident happened at 12:50 a.m., and the officer had to be extracted with assistance from the Central Saanich Fire Department.
The cause is under investigation.
