Saanich police are investigating two incidents where rolls of artificial turf worth an estimated $4,000 were stolen from the Braefoot Park Centre on McKenzie Avenue.
The thefts happened in late September and early October.
Police don’t have any surveillance footage from the area and are asking the public for assistance.
“It’s disappointing to see this turf stolen from a community group serving youth here in Saanich and we will continue to investigate,” said Insp. Damian Kowalewich.
