鈥淎ll my relations.鈥� When I first heard that phrase, said in closing by an indigenous man at the end of a multifaith meeting, I was completely confused. It didn鈥檛 relate to the preceding sentence, so it seemed at first to be a non-sequitur.

On April 22 nd of this year the UN Global Communications team, responding to the challenges posed by the pandemic, encouraged the governments of the world to 鈥渂uild back better鈥�.

Covid 19. Here we are, experiencing an incredible challenge of readjustment. The whole world is involved and grappling with it is a new deal for most of us.

Saturday鈥檚 article, Healing the Planet through Global Collaboration , i n the Times 91原创 and here on Faith Forum (August 1st 2020), from the Victoria Multifaith Society, addressed the need for global solutions to global problems.

鈥淏lack Lives Matter鈥� is another way to express the Christian calling to love our neighbour.

In my last article , I shared my thoughts on how the pandemic may pave the way for us all to consciously strive to protect others from all harm not just from the virus but all harm to body, mind, and soul.

Every generation has defining moments. A date that becomes part of the history books and continues to echo through the years. March 11, 2020, the day the World Health Organization declared Covid-19 a global pandemic will be one of those dates.

I always thought that life has to be without difficulties and full of happiness because God wanted it that way.
