For that period, trains will end their journeys into southeast Metro 91原创 at Surrey Central Station, one stop earlier than normal.

"The station is expected to reopen in mid-June," states TransLink.

During the closure of the SkyTrain station, the bus service to King George station will continue and bus service between King George and Surrey Central stations will be expanded.

"Additional buses will run every 15 minutes between King George and Surrey Central stations from 6 a.m. and 9 a.m. on weekdays," states TransLink.

"Closing down a SkyTrain station is a rare occurrence, and in this instance, unavoidable," states the transit operator on its website. "TransLink is carrying out crucial infrastructure upgrades, including the replacement of two turnouts."

Some of the pieces being replaced are 30 years old.
