What's a poor citizen to do? If there is anything as certain as death and taxes these days, it is this agonizingly recurring series of expos脙漏s about inflated salaries, corporate excess and lack of oversight that causes the public weal to bubble over from time to time like it was unable to resist the hot, unmanageable lava of disclosure.
ICBC, B.C. Ferries, Community Living B.C. and B.C. Hydro are the ones that come immediately to mind, but no doubt much of our precious tax dollars are plotted against even by lawmakers unable to resist the temptation to skim their fair share and more, as well as fatten up their pensions.
As for resolution, well, apparently there is not much we can do this time - but next time - things will improve. In a pig's pork-barrel eye!
