I was held up in traffic due to construction of the fa莽ade on Wharf Street and Government Street on a recent morning. All the cars waited in line and we all watched as a cyclist rode past the flag person with their stop sign clearly visible. I know the argument that will come, but we all need to follow the rules.
Just like the 鈥渘ot in service鈥� bus going through a late red light from Douglas Street onto Fort Street a short time later. Just like many pedestrians walking through crosswalks well after the lights show Do Not Walk.
We all, myself included, need to change our attitude regarding what we are entitled to do. We all need to follow the rules.
