The headline gives the impression that the cougar is some kind of lowlife crackhead criminal scumbag that would mug a little old lady in James Bay for pocket change.
It is extremely unfortunate that the wild animals of 91原创 Island are getting exterminated at an accelerating rate. One day, no wild animals will roam this Island.
Communities must be responsible for the protection of wild animals if they really want to retain a rural atmosphere. Central Saanich needs to pay for a trained hunter to sedate the cougar and move it over to another municipality.
After all, the cougar is only here specifically to cull the deer.
