The Ministry of Education and Education Minister George Abbott are slow learners.
Consultants travelling around the province, studies using a variety of resources, masses of statistics will be a complete waste of the $10.7 million that has been allocated to improve student reading scores in our schools.
Only two changes are necessary to bring the desired results: reduction in class size so that more individual attention can be given to students, and the reintroduction of qualified teacher-librarians in every school in this province.
