Mistakes made, apologies offered
Re: “Trudeau exonerates Saskatchewan chief; Apologizes to Poundmaker First Nation” May 24.
Prime Minister Trudeau appears sincere when apologizing for the mistakes of past prime ministers.
Last week’s apology for the wrongful treatment of Chief Poundmaker is the most recent example.
We are all human and make mistakes.
However, Trudeau seems oblivious to his mistakes. He offers no apology for the embarrassing costume parade of his family on an India state visit, or treatment of senior officials Vice Admiral Mark Norman, former attorney general Jody Wilson-Raybould and former president of the Treasury Board Jane Philpott.
