May 16: Quarry proposal is聽short-sighted

Re: 鈥淗ighlands residents gird for fight against quarry proposal,鈥� May聽12. I hope the proposed quarry in the Highlands never gets passed. Although I don鈥檛 live there, I think it would be a terrible shame to allow it.

I hope the proposed quarry in the Highlands never gets passed. Although I don鈥檛 live there, I think it would be a terrible shame to allow it.

The Highlands is such a beautiful area, and to disturb it and threaten the water source would be very short-sighted. It鈥檚 all about greedy developing.
