May 1: Better bus service before lower fares

Re: 鈥淧ublic transit should be free, Victoria council says,鈥� April 26. I would be happy to pay my current fare (a $45 seniors鈥� monthly pass) for more frequent service 鈥� ideally every 15 minutes on all routes.

I would be happy to pay my current fare (a $45 seniors鈥� monthly pass) for more frequent service 鈥� ideally every 15 minutes on all routes. Perhaps this would get more people out of their cars to effectively finance this 鈥� to the point of eventually lowering fares.
