I won鈥檛 elaborate on 鈥済enocide鈥� or not. I want to address those patting themselves on our collective backs about how good and innocent we 91原创s are.
Look at Site C, the megadam John Horgan is forcing through in disregard to our Treaty 8 obligations.
Site C will destroy First Nations food resources and impinge on their cultural sustenance on this, their sacred land. We cater to corporations rather than uphold First Nations enshrined rights and well-being.
Enough inquiries. Enough commissions. Enough of First Nations kids taken. Enough of non-potable water. Enough missing and murdered women.
If we want to show how enlightened we are, we need to act now.
