Re: “Remaking a Roadrunner,” May 31.
What a breath of fresh air. A local story about horse power with no controversy.
Grade 12 Vic High student Tony Harrington tells of his experience working with six classmates to restore a beater Dodge Aspen into a show car.
He convinced the school to consider his car as a mechanics shop project.
Together, the car was taken down to bare metal and then refinished to an award-winning level.
Here is a young man who knows the vocation he wants to pursue and someone who intends to “keep making it a better car bit by bit,” going forward.
I believe that there are more stories like this out there that are
feel-good reading.
Good on you Times 91ԭ for publishing this one. More of the same is encouraged
