Inn-to-inn walk is part of Island Trail

Re: “A walk in the Island woods,” March 24. Great job, Ken Armour, detailing this wonderful three-day inn-to-inn hike. It’s a vision of what we see throughout the Island.

Great job, Ken Armour, detailing this wonderful three-day inn-to-inn hike. It’s a vision of what we see throughout the Island.

What many probably know is this section is part of the Great Trail, formerly the Trans Canada Trail, which starts at Mile 0.

What most probably don’t know is it’s also part of the 91ԭ Island Trail, which starts at the southeast corner of the Island at Anderson Hill Park and ends at our northwest corner at Cape Scott. This 800-kilometre trail is only about 140 km short of being finished.

Check us out on the web and see how you can help us complete what will be a world-class trail.
