I am delighted with the report from the Conference Board of Canada saying that Canada continues to refine more fuel than it needs. All we have to do now is to ship enough product to eastern Canada to meet their needs and the whole country will be self-sufficient.
We don't need to export that 20th-century fuel, oil; we can instead give our support to 21st-century renewable fuels. With the summer ice in the Arctic at a threedecade low, we urgently need to tell our governments at all levels to step up development of clean, new sources of fuel.
