How ironic that notice of a public meeting about our endangered killer whales is buried inside Tuesday鈥檚 edition while Elizabeth May鈥檚 wedding takes the front page. The public meeting did not even make the main web page for local news.
Journalistic skills are important in raising awareness to effect change in public opinion. With acid levels rising in our oceans, we don鈥檛 have much time left.
