The Jewish Community Choir, directed by Carol Sokoloff ,will perform a concert of Jewish music from many lands and times singing in Hebrew, English, Ladino (or Judeo-Spanish), Yiddish and Aramaic.
Concert takes place at Congregation Emanu-El Synagogue, 1461 Blanshard Street, Victoria on聽Sunday, May 4 at 7:30 pm.
Admission is by donation; a portion of the proceeds will be donated to the heritage synagogue towards building restoration.
Concert will feature Laura Cave on piano; special guests will be 'The Klez.' and Jewish jazz will be performed by 鈥楾rio Espresso鈥�.
