Paramedics rushed two people to hospital after a crash at a Gorge Road West intersection on Friday morning.
B.C. Emergency Health Services said it received a call at 8:24 a.m. about a motor vehicle incident near Millgrove Street and Gorge Road West in Saanich.
Two ambulances with primary care paramedics and an ambulance with advanced care paramedics responded to the scene.
Paramedics provided emergency medical treatment to two patients at the scene, who were taken to hospital. Their condition wasn’t immediately known.
Saanich police closed a portion of Gorge Road West between Harriet and Tillicum for most of the day as traffic analysts investigated the collision, which involved a white pickup truck and a white SUV.
Drivers were asked to avoid the area.
