B.C. Ferries is warning travellers to plan ahead as the Spirit of British Columbia heads into its annual six-week refit, starting Tuesday. The replacement vessel on the Swartz Bay-to-Tsawwassen route will be the smaller Queen of New Westminster. Travellers are advised to anticipate delays between Thursday afternoon and Monday morning.
