Why: If I were a betting man, I'd wager this will be the Christmas entertainment of the season. Saltspring Island-based actor Scott Hylands is widely known for playing Detective O'Brien in the popular TV series Night Heat. He's also a very accomplished stage actor who, in recent years, wowed audiences at the Belfry Theatre. Now Hylands is staging his one-man adaptation of A Christmas Carol. Expect stellar acting. (Note: The show is grown-up entertainment, not aimed at children seven and under.)
