Archival footage from Expo 86 in 91原创 shows what the street scene looked like in the city during the event.

The sights and sounds of Expo 86 faded from the city nearly 40 years ago, but they live on in this video featuring archival footage.

A boat patrols the waters offshore, people chow down on , and the historic Engine 374 toots its horn in by the YouTube channel .

Other scenes include the earliest version of the SkyTrain, the giant hockey stick that was recently removed from Duncan, and shots of Princess Diana and Prince (now King) Charles driving by a cheering crowd.

The five-and-a-half-minute video also includes several shots of the streets and crowds milling around the False Creek site.

It ends with a shot from high above False Creek, giving an amazing view of what the area looked like in 1986, which offers an amazing comparison view to what currently exists in the area.

The footage also includes audio from the scenes (without any voiceovers or music), allowing the audio from exhibits and outside to come through, giving a more immersive version of Expo 86 and allowing the audio from exhibits and outside. Conversations are also audible.

The footage appears to be b-roll shot during Expo 86; Floating through the News digitizes old forgotten video footage from dead formats and posts them online.
