Organizers of the Victoria Film Festival are saluting James Bond by returning to one of the spy franchise’s most celebrated entries for a swanky affair on Friday.
With the new Bond film, No Time to Die, in theatres after a protracted delay, the Vic Theatre (808 Douglas St.) will be home to a screening of Casino Royale. Pre-film activities include a round of Bond trivia with 007 expert, John Threlfall; costume contest; and Goldstream Distillery tasting experience with Bond-inspired cocktails.
Showtime is 8 p.m. Tickets are $20 from or the Vic Theatre box ofice.
