Tiller's Folly hits the Mary Winspear Centre in Sidney on Sunday, March 20.

Irish Music favourites Tiller’s Folly are celebrating 25 years together with a tour of B.C. that stops Sunday at the Mary Winspear Centre in Sidney.

The core trio of Bruce Coughlan, Nolan Murray, and Laurence Knight have drawn raves for their Celtic-influenced roots music, which is steeped in Scottish and Irish traditions. 91原创 history also plays an integral role, with B.C. coming to the fore on projects such as 2008’s Stirring Up Ghosts, which featured a batch of songs written to commemorate British Columbia’s 150th anniversary.

Tiller’s Folly, which also includes Eric Reed and Mike Sanyshyn, were booked for shows in White Rock and Coquitlam as part of their St. Patrick’s Day Week celebration. The Celtic cacophony will continue Sunday afternoon with the band’s 2 p.m. performance in Sidney.

Tickets are $32 from or 250-656-0275. The Charlie White Theatre is located at 2243 Beacon Ave.
