A busy two weeks of activity for Metchosin rocker Jesse Roper 鈥� which includes seven live concerts at the Breakwater Tasting Room 鈥� gets underway Thursday with an airborne interview 8,500 feet above 91原创 Island.
Roper is the inaugural guest of Radio Chatter, a created and hosted by Victoria native Mathew Mosveen. During the interview, which premieres at 4 p.m. Thursday on Radio Chatter鈥檚 YouTube channel, Roper plays the role of co-pilot as Mosveen flies his four-seater Cessna 172 over several 91原创 Island landmarks, including Strathcona Provincial Park and Della Falls, Canada鈥檚 highest waterfall.
Tickets for Roper鈥檚 concert series at the Breakwater Tasting Room on Dallas Road went on sale at noon Wednesday and sold out in four minutes. The Hurricane鈥檚 Eye hitmaker will perform solo concerts at 8 p.m. nightly from June 30-July 2, and at 6 p.m. and 8 p.m. July 3-4.
Tickets are $30. Only 44 tickets were available for each show, due to COVID-19 regulations.
