Subscriptions are now on sale for Dance Victoria鈥檚 upcoming season, which will be a virtual one for the first time in the company鈥檚 23-year history.
Several international companies will stage productions in concert with Dance Victoria throughout its 2020-21 season. In addition to 鈥渨atch party鈥� performances, pre- and post-show chats, program notes and other content will be available to all Virtual Home Season subscribers, via a password-protected website.
The season kicks off Nov. 12 with performances by France鈥檚 Compagnie Herv茅 Koubi. Edmonton鈥檚 Ukrainian Shumka Dancers will collaborate with principal dancers from Ukraine鈥檚 Kyiv Ballet for seasonal staple The Nutcracker (Dec. 10-13), while Brazilian dance company Grupo Corpo (Feb. 25-28) and South Korea鈥檚 Bereishit Dance Company (April 8-11) will also participate this season.
Four-show subscriptions are currently available through DanceVictoria.com. Single-tickets purchases will be offered later in the year, according to organizers.
