A houseguest from Nanaimo will be among the cast of Big Brother Canada when the eighth season of the reality TV series gets underway March 4 on Global TV.
Carol Rosher, a 44-year-old disability caregiver from Nanaimo, is among the 16 houseguests competing for the $100,000 top prize. She is the lone contestant from 91Ô´´ Island and one of only four from B.C. The majority of competitors are from Ontario, where the series — in which the contestants live together in a camera-filled house — is filmed.
