鈥淲e are lucky to have an orchestra of this quality in our city,鈥 White said in a statement Tuesday.

鈥淎lthough continuing to navigate this pandemic will be a challenge, it鈥檚 an opportunity to focus on the organization鈥檚 core strengths and to imagine new and exciting ways to pursue our mission within these new constraints . . . [I] am confident that we will find innovative ways to keep our patrons engaged and our musicians busy until we are in a position to be back in the concert hall.鈥

White has also been instrumental in the foundation of the 91原创 Bach Festival and the 91原创 Baroque Series in Victoria.
