Producers have extended the run of Hilda’s Yard at St. Luke’s Church Hall in Saanich by an additional two performances, in order to meet overwhelming audience demand.

The new shows will take place on Feb. 12, at 2 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. Four previous performances of playwright Norm Foster’s acclaimed look at family life, held Jan. 29-30 at St. Luke’s, were all sold out. Shows scheduled for Feb. 5-6, also at the Saanich theatre, have sold out in advance.

The production, which is limited to 50 per cent capacity, was initially set for a 15-show run at Langham Court Theatre, but the run was cancelled out of COVID-19 safety concerns in January. The Rockland theatre space remains closed indefinitely while its new board charts a new path forward.

St. Luke’s Church Hall is located at 3821 Cedar Hill Cross Rd. To purchase tickets, visit www.stlukesvictoria.ca.
