Bruce Dickinson, the frontman for British metal legends Iron Maiden, will stop in Victoria as part of his 2022 spoken-word world tour, it was announced Monday.
Dickinson, 63, will visit The Royal Theatre on March 16, one of 10 venues across Canada that the Run to the Hills singer will visit next year. The performance will feature no music from Dickinson; his first set will include stories of his time in and out of Iron Maiden, with the second section of the evening being devoted to a question-and-answer session with members of the audience.
Tickets go on sale Friday at 10 a.m. through and.
The singer last appeared in Victoria in 1982, when Iron Maiden opened for Scorpions at the former Memorial Arena.
