Due to the current COVID-19 situation, the Victoria Jazz Society says it has made the 鈥渄ifficult and prudent decision鈥� to cancel the Funk Hunters concert Get Funk鈥檇.
The event was scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 25 at Phillips Backyard on Government Street.
鈥淭he VJS is very disappointed about this decision and hopes to present Get Funk鈥檇 as a part of the TD International JazzFest in 2022, occurring from June 24 to July 3,鈥� the society said in a statement. 鈥淲e look forward to seeing you when attendees, performers, VJS volunteers and staff feel that the time is right.鈥�
Tickets will be refunded at point of purchase.
