Explore: It鈥檚 time to party at the Royal B.C. Museum

On the last day of 2018, the Royal B.C. Museum is inviting visitors to Party Like It鈥檚 1999, a family-oriented theme party with ancient frolic, music, activities and games for all ages.

On the last day of 2018, the Royal B.C. Museum is inviting visitors to Party Like It鈥檚 1999, a family-oriented theme party with ancient frolic, music, activities and games for all ages.

The museum says the event, held in the Egypt: The Time of Pharaohs exhibition, is a party fit for the gods.

The museum has planned events such as Hieroglyph Decoding, Nile Shadow Puppets, DIY Tomb Decorating, Ancient Lego Construction with the Victoria Lego Users Group and Exploring connections between Ancient Egypt and B.C. species.

There will be party snacks and time-warped music.

Admission is $24 adults, $16 youth and free for children 5 years and younger. The event runs 6 to 8:30 p.m. Dec. 31 at the museum, 675 Belleville St. For more information, go to
