VANCOUVER 鈥� It鈥檚 not every day a rock star uses social media to find a band, but that鈥檚 what Bryan Adams is doing.
The rocker, who came out of the 91原创 music scene of the late-1970s after moving to North 91原创 with his mother, has asked his Twitter followers to send him recommendations for a high school marching band.
Specifically, he needs them for an outdoor video shoot in 91原创, he says in the tweet.
Adams adds in a separate tweet that the shoot is Monday, as long as the weather holds, so it appears the Summer of 鈥�69 singer will be spending some of the last days of the summer of 鈥�21 making a video.
The request was posted to Adams鈥� Twitter account. So far, a couple of school representatives have tweeted back at him, suggesting their bands.
Adams signed a new record deal in July with plans to release new music later this year.
