More than 300 MBA students from 14 universities are converging on 91原创 to take part in the 37th annual National MBA Games - .
Downtown 91原创's University Canada West (UCW) is this year's host for the games, which involve MBA students from across Canada competing in academic, athletic and team-spirit . Team-spirit events highlight team energy, creativity, and school pride, featuring fundraising, team performances, introduction videos, a social media challenge, and a final mystery event.
Ontario's Queen's University launched the competition in 1988. The goal is to foster networking, teamwork and leadership development among future business leaders.
The event combines academic case-study competitions, sporting events and team-building exercises. Teams often raise money for various charities.
The winning school earns the title of MBA Games champion and is given the responsibility of hosting the event the following year, according to UCW, which won last year.
In 2024, UCW became the first university to hold the B.C. and national MBA Games titles simultaneously.
