MILESTONE FOR PENINSULA FIRM
Sidney-based Royal LePage By The Sea, a boutique real estate office established by Jean and Edward Dunn in 1996, achieved an impressive milestone last month, selling its 200th oceanfront property. The company hit the mark with a home sale on Tyron Road in North Saanich for $2.65 million. "My team is thrilled to mark this auspicious occasion," said Jean Dunn. "In recent days, we've seen a dramatic increase in activity associated with our high-end listings, giving us much optimism as we move into the second half of 2012." Dunn's team includes managing broker Paula Brown and agents Vicki Hall and Glynis MacLeod.

BAAN JOINS BROADMEAD
Kathy Baan is joining the Broadmead Care Society as community relations manager. She was most recently director of family relations, administration and communications for the David Foster Foundation and was part of the team that raised
$4.6 million at the David Foster 25th Anniversary Celebration in May. Baan was previously promotions director for the Times 91原创 and C-FAX 1070. In her role at Broadmead Care, Baan will oversee society events and manage communications and donor relations.
French radio loses director
After three years at the helm of CILS FM, Victoria's French language community radio station, program director Phil Mossman is resigning effective Aug. 31. Mossman said he will pursue other media ventures.
