Postmedia Network Inc. said Friday it has signed a 15-year lease agreement for a new head office in downtown Toronto.
The media company said the lease, beginning Dec. 1, 2013, includes space on several floors of the 19-storey building and signage rights on all four sides of its exterior.
The space will be home to Postmedia's head office, advertising and digital groups and the National Post newspaper.
Postmedia sold the current home of the National Post and its corporate head office for $24 million to the Rose & Thistle Group Ltd. this year. The sale included a leaseback of the property to Postmedia to give it time to relocate to a new building.
