KAMLOOPS, B.C. - Chase Souto scored on the power play at 4:45 of overtime Monday as the Kamloops Blazers stormed back to defeat the Kelowna Rockets 6-5 in the Western Hockey League.
JC Lipon, Brendan Ranford and Colin Smith added a goal and two assists each for Kamloops (33-14-5), while Tim Bozon chipped in with a goal an assist of his own.
Cole Ully also scored for the Blazers, who erased a 5-3 third-period deficit with three goals via the power play.
Myles Bell scored two for Kelowna (37-11-3), while Ryan Olsen and Damon Severson added a goal and an assist each. Carter Rigby had the other goal for the Rockets. Colton Sissons and Zach Franko had two assists each.
Kamloops goaltender Cole Cheveldave made 26 saves for the win, while Kelowna's Jordon Cooke stopped 40 shots in taking the loss.
