Campers should prepare now for the annual rush to reserve a camping spot in British Columbia鈥檚 96 provincial parks.
The online reservation system to reserve a prime location at 113 campgrounds opens on March 15 at 7 a.m. at .
A statement from the Ministry of Environment says reservations can be made at more than 4,500 sites, all equipped picnic tables and fire rings.
Last year, the website handled 102,872 campsite reservations, 10 per cent more than the year before.
The reservation fee, which is non-refundable, ranges from $6 to $18 per campsite.
Reservations can also be made through an operator at 1-800-689-9025 for a $5 charge.
