A 21-year-old man was found at a parking lot located on the 3300 block of Massey Drive at about 5 a.m. Friday.
Police arrived at the scene to see Prince George Fire/Rescue personnel conducting first aid on the man.
Witnesses said the man had been driving a go-cart in the parking lot and collided with a fixed structure.
The man was not wearing a helmet.
Paramedics transported the driver to hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Evidence, including the go-cart, was seized at the scene.
The investigation continues but foul play is not suspected.
The BC Coroners Service is conducting a parallel investigation.
