A 46-year-old man has been missing since mid-December when he rowed away from Cortes Island, and RCMP are asking the public to help locate him, possibly around Toba Inlet.
Nathan Zuk left his mother鈥檚 home at Whaletown, Cortes Island, in a 14-foot-long (4.26 metre) rowboat.
It鈥檌s believed he was heading for an unknown location near the Pryce Channel, north of West Redonda Inlet and northeast of Cortes Island, or Deer Passage, northwest of West Redonda Island, or Toba Inlet, northeast of West Redonda Island.
RCMP said the west coast marine unit was called to assist and made patrols between May 5 and May 10, but did not find Zuk.
A person and vessel matching Zuk鈥檚 description were seen approximately three week ago in Toba Inlet.
Police are asking anyone who may be in the area tocall police with any observations that may be of assistance to the investigation.
Nathan has medical issues and family and police are concerned for his well-being.
He is described as a caucasian male, six feet and two inches tall (188 cms), 181 pounds (82 kgs). He has a medium build, hazel-coloured eyes and brown wavy hair.
