A man was hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries Saturday morning after a stabbing in downtown Victoria.
Victoria police responded to a parking lot at Yates and Broad streets about 9:45 a.m. after a passerby called 911. The man was lying on the ground and called out for help, and told the people who came to his assistance that he had been stabbed.
B.C. Ambulance Service paramedics were already on scene when police arrived. Two officers accompanied the victim to hospital.
Police determined that the victim had been stabbed by two men. A knife was found in the area.
The victim was treated and released.
No arrests have been made.
